Memories

I loved the sound the wind made while walking in the grass so tall with my arms stretched out touching each blade the wind blew past. If you turned your head just ever so slightly winds song changed.

I took great delight in my little hands blackend by the walnuts gathered on the ground below the most beautiful spell binding magical tree of all time, The Walnut Tree.

To smell the grain and bury oneself up to the waist with just my head and arms free to grab handfulls of grain and feel it fall as if through sands in a hourglass. Oh how cool it feels on my tiny legs.

To snuggle in to the soft bossom of one so dear while cookies are baking just right.

To sleep so soundly and wake so perfect with antisipation of a day as perfect as yesterday.

I still enjoy my moments of nature and the memories of times cherished from a little ones perspective, my child self

So many years in temporay thought, waiting for this, waiting for that.
